The Cursed Neckless Life in Miniature

The Cursed Neckless

Life in Miniature
Using the toys I purchased and various tools to construct each scene in my narrative, I hope to create the illusion of a miniature universe. For this project, I've drawn on my inner childhood imagination to create a visual narrative. I'll use a sequence of related photos to tell a coherent story using standardized objects and narrative flow. I shall employ photographic methods and imaginative lighting; every scene will be painstakingly documented to give the story vitality.
The Characters
The Narrative
The story begins with a Girl going for a walk in the garden near his house. The Girl enjoys gathering things to keep for himself and while strolling through the garden, she discovers an incredible object that she has never seen before. She brings the object home with her and begins to talk about what she wants, not realizing that the object grants wishes, so all of her wishes come true.

In her room, the girl sees the things she has been wanting and becomes excited, granting more wishes. The girl doesn't realize that every time you wish for something and the item grants it to you in return, it takes a life close to you. Things start to take a dark, twisted turn, and when she goes to tell her family about the item, she finds them dead, laying on the floor with their heads snapped.
The Storyboard
I've created a thorough storyboard in this set of drawings that outlines the arrangement of every scene, including the locations of my items and people and the light source. To maximize the focus of the scenes, my strategy entails creating a neutral and simple backdrop by utilizing black paper for the bedroom scene and white strings, toys and presetic. Throughout the series, I will depend on natural lighting to keep the ambiance of my scenario. You will notice that I will be taking images in various settings to tell my tale in each scene.

Behind The Scenes
The time it took to shoot each scene was significant. I took a number of pictures at first, but I ended up retaking them since I thought they didn't adequately capture my scene.
Setting out each scene's composition to make it look interesting was a challenge for me. I didn't have enough materials to create the composition with my character going down the stairs to visit her family, and I wasn't sure how to snap pictures of that scene. I attempted to make my story come to life by using a variety of aspects. Setting up each setup and taking multiple shots from various perspectives took me many hours.

The Bedroom scene
Following her discovery of the necklace in the garden, the girl returns home, and you can see her standing over her study desk in her room with the necklace resting on top of it. She begins to admire the object's beauty.

One Wish
The girl begins to consider her desires, and without her knowledge, the neckless begins to fulfill them. You can see objects flying around the room as she grows more and more enthused by the entire experience.

The Stairs
The girl hurried downstairs to tell her family the good news after discovering the neckless grant wishes. She was thrilled and pleased and decided to share her newfound fortune with them.

The dead Body
When she descends the stairs into the lounge, she discovers that her family is dead, their heads twisted, and her life has taken an unexpected and deadly turn. She quickly learns that the neckless is cursed, meaning that every time she wishes for something, a life is taken in retaliation.
